Our next steps ‘Islamic Spirituality for Children’ course is a two-year part-time programme, which has been curated specifically to further foundational Islamic knowledge, and to introduce young learners to the academic and spiritual heritage of Islam, whilst also providing a pathway to more advanced study.
Carefully assimilated by renowned subject experts - rooted in classical, Islamic academic rigour - this two-year course is the second stage of our part time Cobbold Initiative - an Alimiyyah Islamic Scholarship programme for children.
Each stage of the Cobbold Initiative is informed by the 5 Cs: competence, confidence, connection, character, and care. Through their studies, learners will gradually develop their knowledge and skills, culminating in the achievement of the 6th C: contribution – where young Muslims will now emerge as positive, thoughtful, and contributing members of the Muslim community and wider society.
Upon completion of this course, young learners will acquire a unique insight into the Islamic tradition; symbolising Islam's universal message of love, peace, and diversity by contextualizing the importance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), whose mercy, compassion, kindness, and perfect character is central to the lives of all Muslims.
Islam is most calculated to solve the world's many perplexing problems, and to bring to humanity peace and happiness
