The road-map for new huffaz is designed to help students memorise the entire Qur'an with a clear step-by-step approach. The course has a deft balance between memorisation and revision, allowing students to practice what has been learnt with guide of the teacher.
The new Huffaz programme consists of:
- One to one sessions with the teacher;
- New sections to memorise every session;
- Review of newly memorised sections (sabaqi) every session;
- Qur'an memorisation tips and techniques;
- Etiquettes with the Qur'an and its pre-requisites;
- Teaching Tajweed nuances and techniques affiliated with expert Qur'anic recitation;
- Roadmap for an ijaza in one or more of the ten canonical recitations of the Holy Qur’an.
The Essential Islam Hifz program has benefitted me tremendously. With access to masterful teachers, it really has helped me rapidly excel in my Qur’anic memorisation, whilst also improving my love for the Qur’an and allowing me to honour it as we should
I never thought that I would be on a Hifz program, I had always been a fairly slow reciter and didn’t think I was the type of person who could do Hifz – I had not memorised much of anything in the past.
Alhamdulillah, Ustadh Hamza suggested trying Hifz of a few short Surahs and once I managed to get a few under my belt – he encouraged me to keep going. Little did I know, but I had reached half of the Juz!
Ustadh then gave me a great method to try for a few months and Alhamdulillah it greatly aided in memorising most of the Juz. For the final few Surahs he again readjusted the method to aid in completing the Juz.
I cannot thank the Ustadh for the time, effort and constant encouragement. As long as commitment and hard work is given, inshaAllah you will be able to memorise as much as you want.
Following my first year of tajweed, I then went on to begin memorising the 30th Juz of the Quran.
Having never attempted to memorise a portion of the Quran, aside from the last 10 surahs, this was an extremely daunting task.
However, Ustadh provided a clear methodology to follow and supported every step of the way.
Ustadh, also takes time out to listen to us recite and provides feedback on Tajweed. This includes clear ways to rectify the issues in a practical way.
. Alhumdulilah I have been able to memorise half of the 30th Juz and I am looking to push on and complete the full memorisation of the 30th Juz
I had the opportunity to start memorising the Qur'an under the guidance of my Ustadh. It has been an amazing experience. The satisfaction you feel when you have memorised a surah and can recite it in your salah is second to none. I must say that for me Qur'an memorisation is not an easy task. It requires hard work, dedication, consistency and love for the Qur'an. It is something i would like to continue, and with the support of my Ustadh i think i can progress well at a pace that suits me.
