Synopsis
The ‘Inshad Training for Children’ course is an introductory educational programme developed specifically for young learners to help build their self-confidence and self-esteem, as they increase their love and understanding of Allah and His Prophet by the virtue of uplifting devotional poetry and singing.
Inshad, also referred to as nasheeds, is a beautiful and expressive form of Islamic vocal music and singing. It is a powerful medium for expressing religious faith and spiritual devotion, which focuses on leading people to Allah and His Prophet; through which students will develop cognitive learning and social skill development through a fun and friendly learning environment and curriculum.
Praising the Prophet through the medium of nasheeds was a practice the Prophet himself encouraged, and many of the companions of the Prophet penned poetry in praise of the Prophet, as well as reciting them in front of the Prophet: Where perhaps the most famous occasion taking place when the children of al-Madinah sung ‘Tala Al Badru Alayna’ upon welcoming the Prophet during his Hijra.
